Although threatening to rain / snow, the early morning weather for the start of the race was great. Chilly but no wind. The trails were MUDDY though.
Nearly 200 runners and walkers started at the Amphitheater at Burke Lake for either the 14K or 1.4 mile Fun Run.
At the finish, folks enjoyed hot chocolate, oatmeal, a variety of muffins, fruit, and of course, chocolates.

All net proceeds of $834.67 were donated to Mended Hearts, Northern Virginia Chapter 200, an organization closely affiliated with the Virginia Chapter of the American Heart Association conducting programs at INOVA Fairfax and Alexandria Hospitals for individuals who have undergone cardiac procedures.
